Event Details
Thank you for deciding to register for the Oak Savanna tour
Wednesday, September 15, 6-7:30 p.m.! To complete your sign-up:
- Click on the orange "Register" icon above right.
- You'll be asked for
your contact information and have to set up an account, but it is
fast and private.
- During
registration you will be referred to as a "Ticket Buyer"; rest assured
this tour is free.
- Once you register,
you will receive a basic confirmation email from eventbrite with a link back to this page.
- Details and directions are below. You will receive an email linking back to this page shortly before the event as well.
- If you need to cancel, you won't be able to do so through this system. Instead, please e-mail sue rich by selecting "tours, hikes and talks" from the dropdown category menu on our contact form or at srich@fmr.org.
- If you cannot register, it means this tour is full and a waiting list is no longer being taken.
EVENT BASICS
* Please arrive by 5:55 p.m. for check-in.
* Please dress for the weather, preferably in layers and with sturdy shoes. **Long pants are a must. Really.**
* This is a rain or shine event. (In the case of extreme weather, we will call to notify you at the phone number provided in your registration. If you are uncomfortable with the weather the day of the event, you do not need to call and cancel.)
* Please bring a water bottle or other beverage as we will not be providing refreshments.
* Feel free to bring binoculars and/or a field guide (and extras if you wish). These items are not required.
DIRECTIONS

Written out directions
From the east/St. Paul:
Please take I-94 to the Cretin /Vandalia exit, turn south/left on
Cretin and go roughly a mile to Marshall, turn right onto Marshall and
head over the bridge over the Mississippi River. As soon as you cross
the bridge, take an immediate right onto the West River Parkway. Turn
right on the parkway and continue to the large parking lot between 36th
and 37th streets. Additional parking is also available parallel to the
parkway on Edmund Blvd.
From the west: Please take I-94 to to the 26th Avenue South/Riverside Exit. Turn right/south onto 26th Avenue. Proceed around the curve to Franklin. Turn left. Just before the Franklin bridge over the Mississippi River, take an immediate right onto the River Parkway. Proceed just over a mile and park in the public lot between 36th and 37th streets. Additional parking is also available parallel to the parkway on Edmund Blvd.
